Our songs are pop-like in form and twisted in spirit. We write happy music about sad things, and sad music about happy things. We think that songs and arrangements should be as simple as possible, but no simpler. We think that music, particularly live music, should be fun, and that you should be able to dance to most of it.
We are The Brothers Frank, and this is our website.
Gallatone Records is throwing a party, and we’re part of the entertainment.
Genesis Be, Shinobi Ninka, Natti Vogel, and Analogue Transit are also on the bill, which means it’s going to be a hell of a party indeed. Show starts at 6:00 sharp, and we play at precisely 7:10.
The Studio @ Webster Hall has an address: 125 East 11th St, Manhattan. It’s open to anyone 19 or older. Yes, nineteen. Why 19? Makes no sense to me.
UPDATE:
The show is now 18+. Apparently the 19+ thing didn’t make sense to someone else, too.

We’ll be playing a few songs with my friends ippazzi at Rockwood Music Hall tomorrow night. 11:59 PM. I don’t know which songs, precisely, we’ll be playing, or how many, but I do know that Rockwood is a great place to see music.
If you’re awake at 11:59 and in New York, you ought to be at Rockwood.

The shows keep coming. Come catch us Friday, 11/13 at the Sidewalk Cafe, at 94 Avenue A, where A meets 6th St. We play at 11:59 PM, for free, and all ages are welcome.

So we’ve got a showcase in this year’s CMJ Music Marathon. Dana Billings, who you may know as the drummer from my band New Neighbors, will be joining us on drums. Yeah, you read right. REAL DRUMS.
If you’ve caught one of our first two shows, or are planning to catch our third, you know we’ve been threatening to fire our drum machine some day. That day is soon. Fourth show, CMJ show, no drum machine.
The Brothers Frank play at 7:15 PM.
NYLE follows at 8:00.
Shinobi Ninja take over right after that.
Jesus Christ this is going to be fun. Ages 18+. Crash Mansion is at 199 Bowery, where Bowery crosses Delancey St.
UPDATE 10/19: Due to a scheduling error on my part, Dana will unfortunately not be playing this show. I told him Friday; the show is actually Saturday, and Saturday he’s got a gig with Andrew and Noah VanNorstrand, which, if you’re near Trumansburg, you absolutely should not miss.
Eric Read will be joining us on drums in Dana’s stead.

The great Mary Lorson has graciously added us to her bill at The Living Room. We’ll be playing either right before or right after her set—that’s still being worked out. But you should really catch both sets.
One band will take the stage at 8:00 sharp. Next band is on at 9:00. This is a free show, folks, open to anyone ages 21+. Don’t come if you’re expecting us to actually sound anything like Hanson. I say this because our mother was worried people will take that little note on the right side of this page seriously. None of you take anything that seriously, right?
Well, don’t.
